In most sales environments, it’s rare for a peer to introduce you to an active prospect they’re working with, but Max didn’t hesitate. After I mentioned I’m targeting a specific niche, he immediately saw the connection and made the introduction, knowing his prospect had deep expertise in that space. That conversation not only provided valuable insights, but also led to introductions to two of the top three players in the field. None of that would have happened without Max’s support.

I want to take a moment to recognize and thank Jennifer for her outstanding support during the IT setup of our new office in San Antonio. Despite our challenges of managing this project entirely remotely, Jennifer’s willingness to step up and her positive attitude played a crucial role in making the implementation a success.

Supporting our vendors and our team was instrumental. Jennifer’s dependable presence and collaborative spirit truly made a difference, and I’m grateful for her contributions to the team.

Thank you, Jennifer!

Ashton has been amazing to work with. While my manager has been out on a much needed vacation, Ashton has been taking all of my questions like a champ. She is always so happy to help and so knowledgeable. She is more than willing to call me when something is not making sense and share her screen so I know exactly what I am doing and not just guessing at it. Such a valuable asset and I am excited to be working side by side with her in the future. Knowing how kind, caring, and helpful she is puts me at ease...especially while being so new and still learning new things every day. Thanks Ashton!

Ashley has been an amazing addition to the CG team in so many ways, and I am very thankful to have her as part of our team! Not only is Ashley a rock star in her daily work with Dereck's team, she has also been extremely helpful throughout the EPIC transition. Yesterday she dedicated hours to helping team members better understand the certificate process in EPIC, along with other helpful tips & tricks. She has also sat in on our EPIC team meetings to help answer questions people have, and the team has been very appreciative of her insight & knowledge of EPIC.

Ashley- Thank you for being a great team player, with a positive attitude and get'r done spirit! I appreciate you!

With a great background in EPIC, it is ideal to have this person work hand and hand with the processes. she has made tremendious changes with Barbara and Linda to downsize both the work load and activitiies that we have. Coming from an EPIC backgound and Trainer myself, it is aweome to have someone so knowlegeable to be part of this big decision making and I want to thank her for all she has contributed.

Laura has been absolutely amazing at getting all the new CG Store orders fulfilled so quickly and efficiently. She’s done an incredible job managing the large volume of pre-sale and extra items—taking photos, updating inventory, and expertly handling every question that comes her way.

Her organizational skills are unmatched, and thanks to her expert folding and labeling, the store always looks pristine. It’s such a joy to have a store we’re proud of, and that’s all because of Laura’s dedication, attention to detail, and hard work.

Thank you, Laura! You truly are a rockstar, and we couldn’t do it without you!

Becca has been absolutely amazing on the slide deck project. She’s incredibly helpful, collaborative, and always striving to make the final product the best it can be. She proactively checks in and makes thoughtful updates—even for small improvements—which shows her attention to detail and dedication.

She’s consistently refining the work, and her commitment to excellence truly stands out. On top of that, she’s jumped in to help with some Airtable updates and automations on a few other marketing projects that would have taken me much longer to get to—helping move everything forward smoothly.

We’re so lucky to have someone like Becca on our team!

Thank you Stacy for being a great mentor! As we are working through an SBA client-facing project, Stacy has been a great guide for assessing who on the SBA team is impacted and how we want to address any cleanup. In addition, she took the extra time with me to build out a complete agenda. I really appreciate her extra efforts!

I wanted to take a moment to thank Sarina for all the hard work that she has put in for an SBA project we're working through! Whether it is making time with me to troubleshoot on a teams call, crafting detailed emails with action items, or working behind the scenes with Richard (thank you Richard!), she truly goes above and beyond and is a great communicator. Thank you Sarina for all that you do!

Abbey deserves a HUGE shoutout as I am constantly reaching out to her. Whether it's her getting me logins (seems like multiple lately!), helping reset my password when I didn't realize I had a login already (ooops!), or just answering basic questions, she is always ready to help me out. Abbey is always so kind and prompt when I reach out, and she really does make our jobs easier. Thank you Abbey for everything you do!

Laura has been a tremendous help throughout my whole hiring and training process. I have learn so much from her in the 6 months I have been here at Christensen Group. If there is ever a time I have needed help, had a question or simply to look over an email, she has always been there to assist me in the process and is very knowledgeable. She is a great leader and coach, and I know I can always rely on her and the whole Personal Lines core team if I ever have questions or need help with anything.

This organization continues to conduct research and studies to find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). T1D is a chronic autoimmune condition in which the pancreas stops producing natural insulin, an essential hormone that helps the body turn food into energy. It places a profound human, emotional, and financial burden on those who live with it and their families. Right now, there is no cure.

I am supporting Matt Jakubowski, a good friend (and ex-West Bend rep (he's retired now), has completed the 100 mile bike ride for 20 years now to raise money for this cause in hopes that one day they will find a cure for this disease the affects his wife.

I want to take a moment to recognize all that Randi does for the benefits team. I've had the privilege of learning from her both as a mentor and leader during my first year at Christensen Group, and I'm incredibly appreciative of her support. Her ability to balance leadership responsibilities , navigate the Epic migration, and still be available to any member of the Small Group benefits team- often at a moments notice- is nothing short of amazing. When I think about makes Christensen Group the best place to work, its the people- and Randi is a perfect example of that. Thank you, Randi, for all you do!

I had such a challenging renewal remarket to work on with Kelly. The best part was, it was so much fun, a great learning experience and a team effort. I learned from Kelly along the way, we were patient, methodical and persistent in trying to find a solution as a team. Today, we finally got a bind order and what a relieve. It was a great outcome for the client and a relief to find a solution on a tough property account. Thank you, Kelly for all your work, help and being a team player! Looking forward to our next collaboration!

I want to take a moment to recognize the extraordinary efforts of Irene in securing a particularly challenging account placement. Irene went above and beyond, with unwavering dedication by working late nights and even sacrificing her vacation time to ensure success. Her relentless pursuit of excellence in tackling this difficult task was amazing. I deeply appreciate all she brought to the table. It truly made a difference. I’d also like to give a well-deserved shout out to Sara Ehlen and Ashton Sabatino for their fantastic support along the way. Together, this team’s efforts have set a remarkable standard, and I’m incredibly grateful for each of them!

I am an animal lover, especially cats of all sizes. I volunteer monthly and sometimes more at the Sanctuary. I also help give presentations to groups to help educate. TWS rescues cats in deplorable conditions from all over the world. Most of the cats there have medical conditions due to inbreeding and living in awful cages. They are not able to be released back to the wild. TWS brings them home and offers them their own habitats, indoor and outdoor. And most of all....the cats now receive love and compassion.

Sean is such a team player that he goes above and beyond to help people who aren't even on his actual team! I so appreciate all of the things he's helped me with over the last 2 years whether it's moving heavy boxes (my personal favorite), covering the front desk, or answering insurance questions. He always has a positive attitude and is willing to step in where he's needed. Thank you Sean - CG couldn't run without you!

Leadership Council - Jul 2, 25

We recommend you revisit the 2025 Strategic Plan. The discussion during our recent meeting highlighted that many initiatives are on track and already making an impact on our growth and operational excellence.

View the Strategic Plan

ASSUREX OPERATIONS MEETING

Kyle Simmons and Hal Balfour shared insights from the recent Assurex Global Operations Meeting. The conversation centered around how other agencies are navigating change management to help users adopt new tools and adapt to evolving technology.

A key takeaway was the growing use of Product Owner roles—individuals who take ownership of the end-to-end client experience for a specific segment or “product,” such as Small Business – Commercial Lines. A Product Owner deeply understands the full lifecycle of the client experience: intake, onboarding, day-to-day service, renewal, and beyond. Their role is to enhance that journey, create efficiencies, and ensure consistent service delivery.

It’s an approach worth considering as we continue to evolve how we serve and support our clients. We do not plan to add Product Owners, but rather it’s an idea to keep on our mind as we continue to grow our business.

DATA & DASHBOARDS

We reviewed gaps in current workflows, with a specific focus on how accounts are entered into EPIC. There’s an opportunity to improve consistency and retrain producers on expectations within the system, particularly their role in accurate and complete data entry for prospects and accounts won.

This work is foundational to future dashboard reporting and will help ensure we can rely on clean, consistent data to make better business decisions.

1-Year Goal: Utilize/Create EPIC Dashboard Reporting

Women's Network - Jun 27, 25

The CG Women’s Network recently hosted its third annual Networking Happy Hour at Bear Cave Brewing in Hopkins. The event brought together a strong group of women from across the insurance industry, including many of our valued P&C and Benefits carrier partners.

Despite the rain, attendance was high and the atmosphere was both energetic and welcoming. It was a great opportunity to expand professional networks, connect with new and familiar faces, and continue building strong relationships within our industry.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to a successful event.
