It reminds me of what drew me to CG, what makes me stay and what I strive to be for others inside and outside of our organization. Becca, you were instrumental in the release of a recent project that we have been long working on. The Polar Plunge is a series of events where people go to the extreme to support Special Olympics Minnesota. Special Olympics Minnesota is helping to create a world that accepts and welcomes every single person regardless of ability or disability.

The Polar Plunge is the biggest fundraiser for Special Olympics Minnesota. All funds raised by Plungers help Special Olympics Minnesota provide year-round training and services to thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities across the state.

I wanted to take a moment to recognize Jenn for the outstanding work she's been doing with our clients. Recently, we had a client with HR turnover right as open enrollment ended. We've been working with an entirely new team while simultaneously getting them up to speed and cleaning up from open enrollment which means juggling a lot of moving pieces at once. Jenn has been absolutely stellar through it all. She's been incredibly kind and patient with the new team, thoroughly explains everything in a way that anticipates follow-up questions before they even arise and maintains a sense of urgency that keeps everything moving forward smoothly. Her attention to detail and proactive communication have made what could have been a really rocky transition feel manageable. Our client is in great hands and I'm grateful to be working alongside someone who handles complex situations with such grace and professionalism.

INDY - an acronym for I’m Not Done Yet - is a Minnesota-based non-profit dedicated to supporting real-life Warriors during their cancer battle. Unlike other cancer foundations and cancer non-profits, all types of cancer, age groups, genders, races, and religions within the state of Minnesota will be considered for support from INDY. I had many questions at open enrollment time for my personal benefits, and Carolyn was very responsive and helpful the entire time. Not once did she make me feel like a burden for reaching out to her. Then, when reviewing my elections, she noticed that I had missed something and asked if she would like me to revise. While this missed item was not detrimental and would have been fine if it was missed, the fact that 1) she was so thorough to catch it and 2) she took the time to reach out and then revise my elections speaks volumes on her outstanding work and care. Funds donated by the Eden Prairie Office - In 1993, the executive director of Hospitality House Youth Development (HHYD) created Christmas With Dignity. This unique shopping experience is for parent/guardian who is economically disadvantaged who find themselves unable to afford to buy Christmas presents for their children. The parent or guardian will have the pleasure of shopping and giving their children new gifts at prices they can afford. This allows the children to see their parent/guardian as a provider, and at the same time, the family is strengthened.

Shoutout to Sam for always being willing to jump in and help push charity donations through, even when they come up last minute and need to be done fast. I really appreciate how you’re always ready to put it in front of other tasks when needed and still handle it in such a calm, friendly way. Thanks for being a solid team player.

This charity helps women that have been or still are in abusive relationships. They work on their self skills, help get away from an abuser, help they learn how to live on their own and assist with bills they may have. It is a year long program with one on one counseling and group sessions for the women.

Kristina was absolutely amazing in filling in for a team member with getting two significant wins for Texas across the finish line. Imagine a player stepping up to the plate to pinch hit and hitting a walk-off grand slam or coming in cold and sinking a 3-pt buzzer beater from mid-court or maybe throwing a 60 yard halfback pass for a game winning touchdown…whatever your favorite clutch moment in sports is, Kristina did that in insurance! Both accounts had several moving parts (different carriers), pending subjectivities, and the only advance notice was a phone conversation while bind orders were being submitted, and then Kristina ROCK’D IT!
Her time and effort is truly appreciated and is deserving of an agency wide shout out as the fans storm the field.

I want to express my sincere appreciation to April for stepping in and assisting with my upcoming contractor renewals. The New Ulm Office donated to The Ivy House is a 24/7 crisis nursery providing direct care to children ages 0-10 whose families are in crisis or stressful situations. We provide care for up to 72 hours and walk with families as they find themselves in crisis. Ivy House exists as a resource for families in our community who need help. Our childcare providers are trained and ready to care for children in the most loving way. We understand parenting is hard, it’s ok to ask for help.

Donations by the San Antonio office. Meals on Wheels San Antonio was established in 1977, in conjunction with Grace Place Alzheimer’s Activity Centers. Through public-private partnerships, Meals on Wheels San Antonio volunteers and staff visit more than 4,000 clients’ homes in Bexar, and surrounding counties, each weekday to deliver more than a meal. Through a variety of services, Meals on Wheels supports at-risk, isolated clients by providing them nourishment, independence and care that enables them to stay safe and comfortable in their own homes.

The Minnesota Spay Neuter Assistance Program (MN SNAP) believes all cats and dogs in Minnesota should have access to necessary veterinary care, including spay and neuter surgeries. Though nearly two-thirds of our patients belong to low-income families, we also partner with other nonprofit animal shelters, rescues, and community cat caregivers to ensure pets without homes also have access to veterinary care and are ready for adoption.

Farmnaste rescues abused, neglected and unwanted farm animals and bring them to our 30-acre farm in Lindstrom, MN. There they are allowed to roam in the pastures. and live out their days free from cruelty. Farmaste Animal Sanctuary also provides opportunities for people to connect with the animals and hear their stories through our scheduled tours and volunteer opportunities.

She never fails to amaze me in her willingness to step up, pick up and move ahead with accounts as we transition from Placement to Service; I know and appreciate it is challenging to start up where someone else leaves off but she does it with such finesse and ease! Laura did a FANTASTIC job on planning the Carrier Appreciation Event. The Windmill Project has been an integral part of the Alexandria community since the early 2000s, providing support to families of children with disabilities and special needs. It originally began as part of a regional, federally funded experimental grant aimed at empowering parents to partner with professional service systems. When the federal funding ended, a dedicated group of family volunteers, supported by local professionals, recognized the positive impact of the project and committed to sustaining it.

In 2004, the Windmill Project was incorporated as a non-profit organization directed by a board of community parent volunteers. Since its inception, the project’s primary focus has been on building relationships between parents for peer support and connecting them to relevant resources. In the early days, disabilities were often segregated and not visibly acknowledged within local communities. Today, individuals with disabilities are more integrated into our communities in various ways.

With the help of the internet, the Windmill Project has expanded its reach, connecting people with disabilities and their families to essential services and resources. Today, the project’s main role in the community is to provide sensory-friendly events that foster connections and relationships within the special needs community.

Deb is an amazing asset to CG! Every time I work with her, she goes above and beyond what’s being asked. She is extremely knowledgeable, hard-working and her attention to detail is incredible. Recently I was backing someone up and was not familiar with the account or the financing they were trying to put in place. It was late in the day on a Friday and the client needed to pay that day to avoid cancellation. When I called Deb, she immediately jumped in and made some phone calls to figure out how to get it done. She was so positive and helpful and I was so appreciative of her support. To have someone like Deb who is willing to drop everything to help solve a problem is so valuable and I’m extremely grateful for her. I want to take a moment to recognize Kelly for her excellent handling of a recent client issue. Because of her clear and detailed documentation, I was able to quickly step in and work with the carrier to correct an error on their part. Kelly was responsive, helpful, and appreciative throughout the process, and even though the issue was not caused by us, her concern for the client’s experience truly stood out. Her attention to detail and passion for doing things right make a real difference, especially in situations where we need to request a correction or favor from a carrier. It’s a great reminder that the devil is in the details and details matter, and Kelly’s diligence is a perfect example of how strong documentation and teamwork lead to successful outcomes.
