I had such a challenging renewal remarket to work on with Kelly. The best part was, it was so much fun, a great learning experience and a team effort. I learned from Kelly along the way, we were patient, methodical and persistent in trying to find a solution as a team. Today, we finally got a bind order and what a relieve. It was a great outcome for the client and a relief to find a solution on a tough property account. Thank you, Kelly for all your work, help and being a team player! Looking forward to our next collaboration!

I want to take a moment to recognize the extraordinary efforts of Irene in securing a particularly challenging account placement. Irene went above and beyond, with unwavering dedication by working late nights and even sacrificing her vacation time to ensure success. Her relentless pursuit of excellence in tackling this difficult task was amazing. I deeply appreciate all she brought to the table. It truly made a difference. I’d also like to give a well-deserved shout out to Sara Ehlen and Ashton Sabatino for their fantastic support along the way. Together, this team’s efforts have set a remarkable standard, and I’m incredibly grateful for each of them!

I am an animal lover, especially cats of all sizes. I volunteer monthly and sometimes more at the Sanctuary. I also help give presentations to groups to help educate. TWS rescues cats in deplorable conditions from all over the world. Most of the cats there have medical conditions due to inbreeding and living in awful cages. They are not able to be released back to the wild. TWS brings them home and offers them their own habitats, indoor and outdoor. And most of all....the cats now receive love and compassion.

They are a MN dog rescue that specialize in rescuing at-risk breeds, mainly pitbulls and they focus on rescuing MN dogs first. They pull several from MACC that are listed as Code Red. They provide safe environments for the dogs to decompress, provide emergency medical care for the sick and injured as well as training to help modify behaviors to make the dogs more adoptable. They are completely foster based.

Animal welfare and rescue is very important to me and my husband. UnbreakaBULL's mission to save the misunderstood, the abused, the forgotten and the abandoned, focusing on bully breed type dogs is special. Its not an easy thing take on these types of dogs and commit to enriching their lives until they can find forever homes. They also work on changing stereotypes people have of bully breed dogs.

Sean is such a team player that he goes above and beyond to help people who aren't even on his actual team! I so appreciate all of the things he's helped me with over the last 2 years whether it's moving heavy boxes (my personal favorite), covering the front desk, or answering insurance questions. He always has a positive attitude and is willing to step in where he's needed. Thank you Sean - CG couldn't run without you!

I had the pleasure of working with Tony on the Foster White conversion and it was great working with him and getting to know him. So when when Tony was added to the Epic project, I was like, "Yeah, let's do it!" Tony's guidance and support during this project has been so essential. With his previous experience in Epic, he has been able to add context for us which has been awesome. Sarina Khariwala - Recognition - Jan 27, 25

Sarina has been the backbone of the Epic project. I don't know what we would have done without her. Her ability to multi task, set priorities and keep us all on track has kept this project moving. Not only that, she has kept Applied on track and made sure we received all that was promised to us. She has put in countless hours to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. I am constantly amazed at how much information she can keep track of. I am SO GRATEFUL for her, Tony and Kyle. It has been quite the year and I can't imagine doing it without you guys.

Barbie is an AMAZING trainer! She is so good at training, and she deserves to be recognized for it. Barbie is taking time in her busy schedule to work with me on learning applications in Epic. There is no specific app training and since it's a big part of my job....I got nervous. Barbie told me she could help me! That made me feel so much better. Her knowledge, patience, positive energy and passion for training and helping others is outstanding! I am so grateful for all her help. THANK YOU BARBIE!

While presenting a mid-year review with a client who has been dealing with numerous carrier issues along with serious health conditions which are driving up utilization, Amy was able to manage a very difficult conversation with a high level of professionalism and compassion with the HR team. Often these meetings end with a client feeling helpless and frustrated as they perceive the situation to be out of their control, yet with Amy's approach of setting up an action plan to address each issue, including claims, the client ended the meeting stating how happy she was to have hired us and how lucky we both the client and CG are to have Amy.

Any time I have a question, whether big or small, Meghan is there to help. She digs in and won't stops until she finds a solution or helps direct me to the right tools so that I can empower myself with the resources I need. This kind of help is what allows others to grow; in turn allowing me to help others grow. She does an amazing job of connecting our team so that we can all learn from one another and support one another (especially during the busy seasons). Her selfless, caring and cheerful attitude gives way to a contagious calm whenever I talk to her. Thank you for being an incredible leader, support, and continuous resource! Recognition here is not enough to show just how grateful I am for all you do!

Coming from an EPIC backgound and Trainer myself, it is aweome to have someone so knowlegeable to be part of this big decision making and I want to thank her for all she has contributed.

Ashley has been an amazing addition to the CG team in so many ways, and I am very thankful to have her as part of our team! Not only is Ashley a rock star in her daily work with Dereck's team, she has also been extremely helpful throughout the EPIC transition. Yesterday she dedicated hours to helping team members better understand the certificate process in EPIC, along with other helpful tips & tricks. She has also sat in on our EPIC team meetings to help answer questions people have, and the team has been very appreciative of her insight & knowledge of EPIC.

Kyle Simmons - Recognition - Feb 6, 25

Kyle was a huge asset to the Epic project leadership team. He always provided a fun and upbeat attitude throughout the project, and this continued to overflow to the entire organization through his video updates. He also contributed countless hours analyzing and mapping data behind the scenes, brainstormed and developed marketing pieces, and most importantly kept us all grounded throughout the project. It was a blast working alongside Kyle on this project!

While on a call with our client, who has been dealing with significant issues with their ancillary carriers billing practices, has expressed great gratitude to Brooke and Amy for their diligent work in straightening out the issues month after month. Additionally, the HR manager has been quite happy with the recommendations made by Amy and Brooke regarding a ben admin system which they've never had, and the education provided regarding how carriers determine renewal increases which as HR stated, after many years of administering our plan, I am finally understanding how it works.

March Leadership Update

EPIC SYSTEM UPDATE

We reviewed the EPIC transition and discussed how teams are adjusting to the new system. Workflows and BRDs are actively being updated as we refine our processes. The EB team is leveraging CLD’s experience to incorporate key learnings.

A huge thank-you to those who dedicated weekends and late hours to help us catch up—your efforts have made a significant impact. Our top priority remains client-facing items that could impact our service level standards or introduce E&O risk due to delays. While proper file documentation is important, ensuring timely client service takes precedence.

Spotlight on a 10-Year Vision: 3-Year Goal: Move to a single, company-wide system.

SPIRIT GUIDE CHECK-IN

With the addition of many new producers in the past 18 months, this was a great time to assess the Spirit Guide program and explore ways to improve. As a leadership team, we reviewed the process and made some modifications to the quarterly Spirit Guide check-ins.

Quick refresher: Every new, unvalidated producer at CG is paired with a Spirit Guide—a mentor/coach who supports them through onboarding, process understanding, and integration into our operations. Spirit Guides play a key role in helping new producers navigate their roles effectively.

Each quarter, we gather all Spirit Guides to discuss producer progress and identify areas where additional support is needed. This ongoing collaboration ensures our producers receive the right guidance to grow and succeed.

Spotlight on a 10-Year Vision: 3-Year Goal: Invest time and resources to professionalize our approach to people.

Reminder:

If you haven’t reviewed our 2025 Strategic Plan, take a moment to see how our daily work, monthly check-ins, and action items align with our long-term vision. View the plan here.

Trex Plastic Recycling!

The Eden Prairie office participates in a program called Trex, which encourages us to collect plastic bags for recycling! If we collect 1000lbs of plastic bags in a year, we’ll receive a bench made of recycled plastic for the office!   Unfortunately, we’ve only collected 22lbs of plastic bags for recycling since January 1, 2025.   Help us reach our goal of collecting 500lbs by June 30th! Please bring your plastic bags into the office for recycling; these can be dropped off in the collection bins pictured below, which are in the 1-West and 2-West copy rooms.
