CG Employee Owners took part in the MLK Day of Service and spent the day impacting the lives of many people in their communities.
35 employees spent time at Feed My Starving Children packing over 26,352 meals for families, enough to feed 72 kids for one year. Over 75 tie blankets were tied to be donated to the New Ulm Medical Center, Monticello Cancer Center, the United Way organization and Hospitals in St. Cloud.
Laundry Packs, Care Kits, Lanyard Paracords, Port Pillows, and Comfort Packs were assembled and donated to many outstanding groups helping to make a difference is so many lives.
One employee donated blood, a few gave of their time at local animal shelters, another family made Valentines for isolated seniors and a few employees donated snacks to their local police and EMT departments. Others wrote letters to military service members, packed lunches for the food shelf and heard about the process to becoming a partner for the Can Do Canines program.
In total over 122 CGers took part in the MLK Day of Service 2023. These acts of kindness enhance our personal lives, add value to our work lives, and positively impact our community. Check out photos on CG Connect.
