Betsy from the Women's Network and Amanda from the Charity Committee dropped off four full boxes of donated items to the Dress for Success Twin Cities warehouse this week. The donations came from the CG Women's Network in March when we celebrated International Women's Day, and it was great to finally see where the clothing will be put to good use.
We also got to tour the warehouse and see what it takes to support so many women every month. A team of volunteers assembles Confidence Kits to send out to each woman going through the program, built from donations just like ours. Each kit includes a suit coat, a few blouses, pants, and accessories like jewelry, shoes, and purses, everything a woman needs to show up feeling confident.
Dress for Success Twin Cities offers career and workplace skills development programs for low-income women, helping them reach career advancement, career stability, and economic sustainability. In 2025, they supported over 1,000 women, and they are always looking for donations and volunteers.
