BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Join in and wear pink on Wednesday, October 12th.
Breast cancer is the second most common kind of cancer in women. About 1 in 8 women born today in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives. National Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about the importance of early detection of breast cancer. You can make a large difference in terms of prevention!

Here are additional ways you can show your support or donate to Breast Cancer Awareness.

  1. Firefly Sisterhood
    1. This is a foundation that provides mentors (social and emotional support) for women impacted by a breast cancer diagnosis
  2. Breast Cancer Awareness events around the Twin Cities area
  3. Pay It Forward
    1. Pay It Forward is a non-profit fund that helps breast and women’s cancer patients pay basic living expenses while they go through treatment so they can focus on what’s really important - getting healthy
  4. Susan G. Komen

We will be having our annual Benefits Fair on October 18th, 2022. The fair will be from 10:00am-12:00pm in the Eden Prairie Event Center. This is a great time to learn about CG’s offerings before open enrollment in November. You can meet and chat with representatives from our carriers while enjoying a mid-morning coffee.
*If you plan on getting a flu shot at the fair, please sign up here for an appointment time and mark it on your calendar. (Flu shots are only open by appointment for employees at this time, dependents will be not able to come.)
