SUMMER FRIDAYS

With the weather slowly warming up after a brisk couple of weeks, it’s nice to look forward to even warmer weather to come in the next few months! Summer Fridays will begin on June 3rd and end on September 2nd. For a refresher on Summer Fridays, refer to this article on the Knowledge Center.

2022 HOLIDAY CALENDAR

You can find the 2022 Holiday Calendar on the Knowledge Center!

• If you are PTO eligible, you will find a Floating Holiday in your PTO bank due Christmas Eve falling on a Saturday. It became available for you to use on     January 1st, 2022 and must be used before the end of the 2022 calendar year. To use the floating holiday you will request PTO like usual on Paylocity but you will select “FLOAT – Floating Holiday” instead of the normal “PTO” option.

Today is Rare Disease Day. Rare Disease Day is the globally-coordinated movement on rare diseases, working towards equity in social opportunity, healthcare, and access to diagnosis and therapies for people living with a rare disease. Since its creation in 2008, Rare Disease Day has played a critical part in building an international rare disease community that is multi-disease, global, and diverse– but united in purpose. It’s goal is to raise awareness and generate change for the 300 million people worldwide living with a rare disease, their families, and their care givers.

Watch and support one of our very own, Brittany Ratke’s campaign, ‘Every Light for Everleigh and Rare Disease.’ On February 28th, leave a purple porch light on, wear purple, or share your favorite colors to shine your light on people living with a rare disease on CG Connect Photo Wall.
