CG Team Helps to Raise Over $22K at MN Special Olympics Polar Plunge

March 24, 2026

Charity Committee - Mar 24, 26

CG employees showed up in a big way at the Minnesota Special Olympics Polar Plunge this year, participating as part of Ross's Rebels with our "Who Let the Dogs Out" theme. Our team of 28, including 7 brave CG employees who took the icy plunge, came together to support an incredible cause and had a great time doing it.

A special shoutout to Matthew Warren, Samuel Doocy, Irene Koelewijn, Andy Bertram, Tyler Gerads, Kyza Engelson and Julie Kack for braving the cold water. The team raised an impressive $17,476, and with an additional $4,715.25 match from CG employees on behalf of the Charity Committee, we brought the total to $22,191.25. These funds will directly support Special Olympics Minnesota athletes by providing year-round training, competition opportunities, and programs that promote inclusion and strengthen community connections.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who participated, donated, or showed support for this event. Your willingness to brave the cold water and your generous contributions truly reflect the values we share as an organization. A special thank you to Julie Kack for organizing and making this event such a success.
