This holiday season, our offices came together for the CG Season of Giving, supporting organizations and individuals in the communities where we live and work. Through donations, volunteering, and hands on support, we made a meaningful impact across multiple states. This effort reflects one of CG’s 4 Cs, Community, and our commitment to showing up for the people and places we serve.
Our Kansas team proudly supported Drumm Farm Center for Children, a valued CG client, by purchasing gifts for the Compass Youth stocking program, which supports young adults who have aged out of foster care or are experiencing homelessness. Alyssa Blake also contributed by baking cookies for Drumm Farm’s annual holiday party, where gifts were distributed.
In Minnesota, the Eden Prairie office delivered donated gifts along with a contribution supported through the matching fund to help families shop for the holidays during Hospitality House Youth Development’s Christmas with Dignity event. The Simmons family also volunteered by helping set up for the shopping event. The Monticello office provided winter coats, boots, mittens, and other cold weather essentials for Monticello High School students in need, along with gas cards, a comforter, and yearbooks for graduating seniors. The Waite Park team granted wishes through the INDY Foundation’s Blessing Tree, supporting local cancer warriors and their families with donations that were matched by CG. In New Ulm, the team donated toys and gifts to Ivy House, a 24 hour crisis nursery that provides short term care for children and support for families in crisis. In Alexandria, Dave Deterding made a donation to The Windmill Project in support of its upcoming Christmas event, helping families of children with disabilities and special needs.
In Texas, the San Antonio team volunteered with Meals on Wheels San Antonio, delivering meals to community members in need and providing a financial donation to support the organization’s ongoing work. Our Austin team supported SAFE, an organization dedicated to stopping abuse and providing emergency shelter, counseling, legal services, and 24 7 SAFEline support for children, adults, and families. Donations from the Austin team were matched by CG to further expand their impact.
We are grateful to everyone who participated and gave their time, resources, and support this season. We also want to recognize and thank those who contributed to these efforts outside of the offices listed here. We appreciate your willingness to step in, donate, volunteer, and help wherever needed. We also know many employees give on their own year round to organizations they are passionate about, and we are grateful for the many ways you support your communities. The CG Season of Giving reflects who we are as an employee-owned firm and our ongoing commitment to Community during the holidays and beyond.
