April Leadership Update

April 27, 2026

Leadership Council - Apr 27, 26

A QUICK NOTE We recommend you visit the 10 Year Vision & 2026 Initiatives as we are in full-swing on our projects and focuses for 2026.

EPIC – 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Linda Jackson, EPIC Administrator, and Kyle Simmons, Director of Digital Solutions, presented a summary on EPIC and where we are today. Prior to the meeting, Kyle and Linda sent a survey asking employees for their feedback on EPIC and what we should know to continue to improve the system. The survey response was lower, with around 20% of the employees responding. We heard feedback from each department differently:

Commercial Lines - More training would be appreciated, especially for those who have been at CG longer than one year. Additionally, there are opportunities to review the workflows. Next up:

  1. Segment Leaders + Trainers will review the feedback
  2. Kaizen Group (stands for Continuous Improvement) is cycling new members to this group. As a reminder: The Kaizen group will review and vote on changes with a majority (votes required) to move forward on process changes. This is in an effort to ensure we meter the changes in the workflows and only make changes that are in the best interest of the majority.

Employee Benefits – Would like more training and to understand best practices in naming conventions. Next up:

  1. Bob and Adam will meet with Linda and Kyle to discuss specific ideas for Employee Benefits.

Personal Lines – Had the most positive feedback in the survey. This department will continue to listen to the team’s feedback but for most intents and purposes, will continue doing what they’re doing. Spotlight on 2026 Goals: Data Integrity

COMMUNICATION & CG TOWN HALL IDEA As a team, we read early eNPS survey results and realized there was a desire for more communication more across the entire agency. We knew there was still time for folks to complete their eNPS survey but we had an opportunity to lean in quickly and pilot a new idea fast.

We decided to host a State of CG meeting in a new format, a CG Town Hall, and gather Q&A from the team. This CG Town Hall was hosted on April 16th. If you missed it you can watch it here CG Town Hall | Meeting Recording.

We'd love to know what you thought about this type of meeting format, or if you have other ideas about how we can better communicate agency updates to all Employee Owners. CG Town Hall Feedback
