Annual Tech Recycling

Everyone loves a good declutter to start the new year, so Green Committee has organized a Tech Recycling Week starting today! 

When: Monday January 5th through Thursday January 8th **Where: The **recycling bins are in the old 2 Center printer area (across from the employee photo wall on 2nd floor)

A Few Things to Note: ** ·                    We are not limiting the number of items per person that can be recycled - that being said please be mindful that we are limited to the space in the 3 recycling bins, so please do not bring a lot of very large items ·                    See the attached PDF for a list of tech recycling do's and don'ts. ·                    For safety reasons, do not bring swollen or corroded batteries, or anything that contains fluid or hazardous/biohazardous materials   ** For Other Offices: ·                    You can recycle up to 3 items a day at your local Best Buy! You can reference this guide to see what they accept. Please note that Best Buy does charge a fee to recycle anything with a screen, and CG will not be reimbursing the cost. If you work in another office in MN feel free to bring your items to Eden Prairie this week!    Please note: Your data is your responsibility. Please ensure that all important files are removed from your electronics prior to recycling. Be aware that your electronics cannot be recovered after they’re collected, so please only recycle items you will not need back. The Green Committee and IT will not be wiping hard drives; you are not required to wipe your hard drive prior to recycling your electronics, however, CG is not responsible for anything that happens with your data after it leaves your hands.   If you have any questions, please reach out to Sean Kurtenbach.   Thanks,
